I will not deny it.   In my opinion, JK Rowling's series is the best fiction out there.    To me, everything else pales in comparison.    But I do love other stuff, and I'm sure you do as well.

I have noticed that some of you are getting possessed by futuristic Muggles and not moving over to the OOC boards.    SO....I'm going to do it for you.

I really want to keep OOC out of the regular posts.   I think it makes things seem more real, which I think makes things more fun.

(OCC) Paradoxes in the Experience

This is where we can talk about the paradoxes in this experience.

For example, how are wizards in the 1990's using Facebook and Blogger?

Why are Harry, Hermione, and Ron being so open up their feelings and personal dramas on Facebook?  Are we supposed to imagine they're sharing this with all their Facebook friends, or are we supposed to imagine it's their private thoughts.

If the wizards did have internet capabilities back then, how might that have changed the outcome of the story?   

Do these paradoxes ever annoy you, or are you good at ignoring them?

Here's a place for you to talk about aspects of the experience that annoy you.   What are your MIM pet peeves?     Please try to be kind while complaining; and remember that many people (both official and nonofficial) are putting a lot of work into this without getting paid.    I think everyone's allowed to make mistakes; and especially those who are giving away services for free.
