Cold!

Hello!

I'm so sorry I haven't written in awhile.   It's really a pain to come to the Muggle Centre.   Plus, it's cold.  Maybe in the spring it will be easier for me.

We've been in Gorgaryle for almost two weeks now.   It's not too bad.   My mum has met a few friends.  Most people here don't mind at all that we're Muggles.   They're very nice.

The other day I went to the potions shop (just for the fun of it).   This elderly woman started talking to me about the stuff she was buying.   She thought I was a witch!   I was too shy at first to tell her I wasn't.  Plus....well, she talked a bit much and didn't give me much of a chance to say anything.

Finally I let her know I was a Muggle.   I prepared for her to scold me for being there or to lose interest in talking to me.   Instead, she was very excited.    She lives up north in Sydney.   She said there's beautiful beaches near her, and she said we should visit her.    I hope we can!    The council here says we have to have permission to leave.   I hate that!    We haven't left yet.   My dad says we should wait to ask because he doesn't want to get them annoyed with us.

I guess I understand his point.    I feel like a prisoner here.   Well, that's stupid of me to say.   It's not like we're in Azkaban.   Everyone is nice here.   We have a nice big tent.   We have good food.

I haven't met any real friends yet, but that might happen eventually.   Probably?

The Cawoods + Julia are coming this afternoon.   We're going to celebrate Julia's birthday.   Well, it's not her birthday today.   It was last Tuesday.   But they were "too busy" to come here until now.   I'm a little mad about that, but I'm not going to go into it.   It's better not to dwell on things.   Right?

Yes, I still have a crush on Malcolm.    I'm hoping to get over that soon though.   Maybe I'll meet someone interesting in Gorgaryle.

Alex,

I hope you meet some friends there soon. Have you talked much to any of the teenagers? Are you okay there in Gorgaryle? I wish I could see you. You have to come up to England to visit, soon. I'm fairly busy with Auror training, and I'm taking on a job at my friend's bookshop. Maybe you could find a way to come up to Hogsmeade one weekend? You could meet Emily, and maybe Lyn, Aiofe and the others could come up. It'd be fun.

As far as Gates is concerned, she doesn't sound suicidal anymore, but I'm afraid she's going to get herself arrested.

Rawson has Gates. They're at St. Mungo's. She's alive, and Rawson stopped her before she could do anything too stupid.

Mia,

I would love to come visit you in Hogsmeade one day. It would be so fun to meet everyone. That's great that you're working at a bookstore. I would love to work in one. Do you like to read?

I'm glad Gates is okay!

Alex,

I love toread, though I didn't get to do much reading the past year. I plan on getting back to it.

Alex,
I haven't seen you on Magic is Might Continues in a while.. Is there still that thing about not going on there?
If not, please do! We need as many people as possible! If it is that's fine!

About Gates, I'm afraid that if I try to visit her she will murder me due to the fact that I interfered so much, even though I didn't capture her.

Lyn,

Hello. Thank you so much for inviting me! I'm allowed to go, but it's hard for me to get on the internet these days.

In case you haven't been keeping up to date, this is the latest on Gates:

Gates saved Sal's life in a mysterious blast and St. Mungo's, and they met to say thank you.
And now Gates and Sal have this 'thing' going. Sal and Gates like eachother. But technically 'we' haven't heard any more than rumors and only know what happened because they're encounter happened 'in person' but was directed on the article. But since we weren't there we only know rumors.
If that makes any sense. But now, Gates and Sal really like eachother, Sal has gone to the 'Less Dark Side' and everyone is worried about them.

Gates and Sal meet secretly again, Gates goes on trial, is thrown in Azkaban where she writes to Sal, they confess their undying love for each other (yeah, almost like a Romeo and Juliet thing), Myles tries to hook Sal up with Garland, after Sal goes on a few dates with Garland, Myles sends Gates a horrible letter mocking her lack of knowledge.
Gates gets out of Azkaban and they meet up in Liverpool in her family house where they picnic. Oh, and then Myles and Rawson show up (and the words “absolutely LIVID” don’t even begin to describe Rawson) and Myles try to (and almost succeeds at) kill both of them.

Oh, and Rawson and Chiante are going out.

Now, Sal has been sent away and he and Gates pretend they don’t like each other at all (the Selwyn and McDaniel families have been arch enemies for a VERY long time) and Sal may or may not be falling in love with Garland instead, to which Gates’s response will be MOST entertaining!

It’s more entertaining to go back and read the posts (really, when I’m bored, I spend a large portion of the day doing that) but there are probably close to 200+.

Please be nice to each other, even if you disagree with what the other person is saying.

If you suddenly feel possessed by a futuristic Muggle, PLEASE go to the OOC section to the right.
